Government approves 17 tasks with 7,172 crore funding underneath electronics element manufacturing scheme

The authorities on Monday (November 17, 2025) accepted 17 tasks entailing about ₹7,172 crore funding throughout six classes underneath the Electronics Component Manufacturing Scheme (ECMS), underlining India’s resolve and its decisive push into producing high-value elements.

These tasks will result in manufacturing price ₹65,111 crore cumulatively.

“You have shown the way on how India will become major electronics manufacturing hub,” Minister for Electronics and IT, Ashwini Vaishnaw mentioned at an occasion saying the second tranche of approvals.

Mr. Vaishnaw mentioned, “To obtain long-term success, India must concentrate on constructing design groups, guaranteeing Six Sigma high quality requirements in all merchandise, and partnering with ‘Swadeshi’ suppliers in tasks,” the Minister added, “The Quality methods will likely be a key a part of analysis course of,”

“The way geopolitics and geoeconomics are evolving, the challenges will be bigger and in those challenging periods, your ability to have good supply chain control will define your resilience and ability to compete in difficult times,” Mr. Vaishnaw mentioned.

The gamers included Jabil Circuit India, Aequs Consumer Products, Uno Minda, ASUX Safety Components India, Zetfab India, TE Connectivity India, and Meena Electrotech, amongst others.

The classes embrace digicam module, connectors, multi-layer PCB, oscillators, enclosures amongst others and are unfold throughout 9 States.
