Daldal trailer: Bhumi Pednekkars serial killer hunt has sinister psychological consequences in crime thriller show

The trailer of Bhumi Pednekkar’s upcoming crime-thriller show, Daldal, was unveiled by the makers on Wednesday, January 21, 2026. The series is based on Vish Dhamija’s bestelling book, Bhendi Bazaar.

Bhumi plays DCP Rita Ferreira in the show who is on the hunt of a cold-blooded serial killer. The trailer offers a brief glimpse into the dark, twisted and bleak world of the show where a series of brutal murders send shocking waves all across. Rita battles her own personal demons as she gets sucked into the intricacies of the case. The series promises to be a dark, twisted crime thriller with a blend of gritty psychological drama.

Speaking about the show, Bhumi said in a statement, “Playing Rita Ferreira has been one of the most intense and creatively fulfilling experiences of my career. She is a woman forged by ambition, haunted by doubt, and burdened by the weight of her past – a character who demanded that I explore the delicate balance between vulnerability and strength in ways I had never done before.”

Directed by Amrit Raj Gupta, written by Sreekanth Agneeaswaran, Rohan D’Souza, Priya Saggi and Hussain Haidry and created by Suresh Triveni, Daldal also stars Samara Tijori, Aditya Rawal, Samara Tijori, Geeta Agrawal, Chinmay Mandlekar, Ananth Narayan Mahadevan, Rahul Bhat and Sandeep Kulkarn in pivotal roles.

Produced by Vikram Malhotra and Suresh Triveni, the show will be released on Prime Video on January 30.
