The thriller drama will likely be directed by Michael Showalter, recognized for The Idea of You and The Dropout, and showrun by Alissa Nutting, co-creator of Made for Love. Both Chastain and Stiller may also function govt producers.
The sequence follows Gus Adler, a writing professor whose life spirals after a divorce. While he struggles to keep up order throughout his “on weeks” with custody of his kids, his “off weeks” take a darker flip when he falls dangerously in love with Stella West, a mysterious lady whose arrival threatens to unravel each his duties and wishes.
Showalter, who developed the undertaking with Semi-Formal Productions, govt produces alongside Jordana Mollick. Paul Lee and Gabriel Fisher govt produce for wiip, with Peter Principato, Allen Fischer and Brian Steinberg for Artists First, in keeping with a press launch.

The present marks Stiller’s newest collaboration with Apple TV+ after the a number of Emmy Award-winning sequence Severance and the upcoming documentary Stiller & Meara: Nothing is Lost. Chastain may also be seen within the streamer’s upcoming thriller miniseries The Savant.
