Most of the buses that had been coming from exterior arrived on the bus stand. But no bus, both metropolis bus or inter-district or inter-State, left the bus stand within the morning.
A lot of passengers, together with girls, youngsters and elders, had been left stranded within the bus stand. Those ready included some college students who had been heading to numerous schools.
Officials mentioned that a lot of the 1,450 routes in Belagavi and Chikkodi divisions had been cancelled. Most of the 4,300 workers didn’t flip up for work. Some members of the KSRTC workers and staff’ union gathered in entrance of the central bus stand and the satellite tv for pc bus stand close to the railway station.
A crew of law enforcement officials had been deputed for safety obligation within the bus stand. They had been seen speaking to commuters who had been complaining that they had been unable to journey as a consequence of lack of buses.
