Stone to be laid for nine IT firms in Visakhapatnam on December 12

Foundation stone is scheduled to be laid for nine Information Technology companies and their allied units at Madhurawada / Rushikonda IT zone areas on December 12, 2025 (Friday).

The State government has allotted a total of 69.97 acres of land through the Andhra Pradesh Industrial Infrastructure Corporation (APIIC) at a per-acre price of a minimum of 99 paise and a maximum of ₹4 crore. The total investment by these companies is ₹3,740.31 crore with an estimated employment opportunity for 41,967 people, official sources have said.

“Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu and IT Minister N. Lokesh will participate. Cognizant Technology Solutions Private Limited has been allotted 22.19 acres in Madhurawada at 99 paise per acre. It is expected to create 8,000 jobs with a proposed investment of ₹1,582.98 crore. Similarly, Samvardhana Motherson International Limited has been allotted 3.55 acres for 99 paise per acre at Kapuluppada. This is expected to create 700 jobs with a proposed investment of ₹109.73 crore,” an APIIC official told The Hindu on December 11, 2025 (Thursday).

Sattva Developers Private Limited has been allotted 30 acres on Hill No. 4 in Madhurawada for ₹1.5 crore per acre. It will invest ₹1,500 crore and create 25,000 jobs. Imaginnovate Techsolutions (India) Private Limited has been given 4.05 acres at Kapuluppada for ₹2 crore per acre. It is expected to create 2,600 jobs and its proposed investment is ₹140 crore.

Quarks Technosoft Private Limited has been allotted four acres at Kapuluppada for ₹1 crore per acre to create 2,000 jobs. It is investing ₹115 crore. FluentGrid Limited has acquired 3.3 acres at a cost of ₹2 crore per acre to create 2,000 jobs. Its will invest ₹150 crore. Sree Tech Tammina has purchased 0.81 acres at Madhurawada at the rate of ₹4 crore per acre. It will be investing ₹62 crore and create 500 jobs.

Nonrel Technologies Pvt. Ltd has purchased one acre of land in Madhurawada for ₹4 crore per acre. It is investing ₹50.6 crore and is expected to create 567 jobs. Similarly, ACN Healthcare RCM Services Pvt. Ltd has purchased 1.07 acres for ₹4 crore per acre in Madhurawada. It will be investing ₹30 crore and is expected to generate employment for 600 people.
