In a press release, TANHA president Vaddiraju Rakesh mentioned the affiliation had held a number of rounds of discussions with Health Minister C. Damodar Raja Narasimha and officers of the Aarogyasri Health Care Trust (AHCT) over the previous 20 days. While the Minister had assured that the difficulty was being taken up sincerely, the delays in disbursal of funds had continued.
“Despite repeated assurances and guarantees from each the Health Department and AHCT, there was no decision to our long-pending points. We are, subsequently, left with no possibility however to indefinitely withhold providers throughout all non-public community hospitals in Telangana from September 16, 11.59 p.m.,” Dr. Rakesh mentioned.
The affiliation urged beneficiaries and the general public to grasp their constraints and prolonged remorse for any inconvenience brought on as a result of suspension of providers.
