1 lakh help offered to 178 Civil Services aspirants from Telangana making ready for UPSC Mains examination 2025

Aspirants from Telangana who cleared Civil Services Examination (Preliminary) 2025 held by Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) and making ready for the Main examination, had been supplied with ₹1 lakh monetary help beneath Rajiv Gandhi Civils Abhaya Hastham launched by the State authorities.

On Monday (August 11, 2025), 178 aspirants had been handed over the cheques at a programme held in Hyderabad. Government run Singareni Collieries Coal Limited (SCCL) offered the help, from its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) fund. 

Besides this, Deputy Chief Minister Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka stated that candidates who clear the Mains examination and put together for the Interview spherical too could be supplied with ₹1 lakh help.  

The scheme was launched in 2024. Of the 140 folks supplied with the help final 12 months, 10 had been chosen for All India Services (AIS). They had been honoured on the event. 

Backward Classes (BC) Welfare Minister Ponnam Prabhakar, Roads and Buildings Minister Komatireddy Venkat Reddy, SCCL chairman and managing director N. Balram and others had been current on the event.
