The committee’s objections got in writing, and we triggered a ruckus in Parliament. We debated it for 15 hours, and it was handed early within the morning. We voted in opposition to it,” he stated.

He added that the Chief Minister M.Okay. Stalin had stated that the Waqf Act must be challenged in Supreme Court. “After it was handed within the Rajya Sabha on April 4 and have become an Act on April 5, we filed a case in opposition to it on April 7.”
