Over 1.33 lakh bottles of the syrup had been distributed within the state since July, officers mentioned.
At least 8,200 bottles stay in inventory at Jaipur’s Sawai Man Singh Hospital, however authorities have instructed that they shouldn’t be given to sufferers.
The Rajasthan well being division has ordered an inquiry into the matter.
