CPI(M) Politburo member B.V. Raghavulu on Monday alleged that the Election Commission of India (ECI) facilitated a backdoor citizenship registration course of below the guise of voter enrolment in Bihar and despatched letters to different States to copy it even because the Supreme Court was wanting into the matter. 

Addressing the media right here on Monday (July 14), Mr. Raghavulu mentioned that the Special Identification Register (SIR) in Bihar was not supposed to determine the citizenship of individuals.
