Dr Singh mentioned if ‘secular’ and ‘socialist’ weren’t a part of Dr Ambedkar’s imaginative and prescient, one should ask what ideology led to their later inclusion within the #Constitution.

Union minister Dr Jitendra Singh on Thursday backed #Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) common secretary #Dattatreya Hosabale’s feedback relating to the insertion of the phrases “secular” and “socialist” into the #Constitution’s Preamble, saying that there isn’t a room for differing views on the matter.

“I don’t assume there are two opinions on this. #Dattatreya ji has rightly identified that the phrases ‘secular’ and ‘socialist’ have been added by means of the forty second Amendment, and weren’t a part of Dr B.R. Ambedkar’s unique imaginative and prescient,” Singh instructed reporters in Jammu.

“Dr Ambedkar produced probably the greatest #Constitutions on the planet. If these phrases weren’t a part of his pondering, then one should ask—what sort of pondering led to their later inclusion?” he added.

When requested about #Dattatreya Hosabale’s remarks advocating the elimination of the phrases from the Preamble, Dr Singh responded by saying,

“I feel any right-thinking citizen will endorse it, as a result of all people is aware of this was not the a part of the unique #Constitution, which was written by Dr Ambedkar and remainder of the committee… It’s not BJP versus non-BJP, it’s about preserving democratic values, preserving the constitutional values,” the minister mentioned. 

Taking a veiled dig on the Congress leaders, the minister additionally mentioned, “Those who’re flaunting the #Constitution e book are literally the most important violators of the #Constitution.”
