Odisha attracted funding of 5.6 lakh crore, created 1.64 lakh jobs in 15 months, says CM

Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Majhi on Monday (September 15, 2025) stated his authorities had accepted 260 industrial initiatives, bringing in ₹5.6 lakh crore price of investments to the State, with the potential to generate 3.6 lakh jobs up to now 15 months since assuming workplace.

“During this time, basis stones for 84 initiatives have been laid, which alone account for over ₹2 lakh crore funding and the creation of 1.64 lakh jobs,” Mr. Majhi stated whereas laying the inspiration stones just about for 27 industrial initiatives throughout 12 districts on Monday (September 15, 2025).

The 27 initiatives concerned investments of greater than ₹25,000 crore and would create assured employment alternatives for over 52,000 youths, in accordance with the State Government.
