The Parliamentary committee inspecting two payments to implement the system of holding Lok Sabha and meeting elections collectively was on Tuesday (August 12, 2025) granted a recent extension until the final week of the Winter session.

A movement moved by chairperson of the Joint Committee of Parliament (JCP) P.P.Choudhary was handed by the House by a voice vote.

According to the movement, the panel has been given time until as much as the primary day of final week of the Winter session, 2025, to current its report.
