MG Majestor 2026 Live Launch And Latest Updates: Price, Colours, Features

The Majestor will go against the Toyota Fortuner, Jeep Meridian, Skoda Kodiaq and Volkswagen Tayron R-Line.

On the safety front, the Majestor is expected to come equipped with six airbags, a Level 2 ADAS suite, a 360-degree camera, a tyre pressure monitoring system, hill assist functions and an electronic parking brake.

Being the flagship offering, the MG Majestor comes loaded with features. Highlights include a 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a digital driver’s display, three-zone climate control and a panoramic sunroof. It also gets 12-way electrically adjustable front seats with ventilation and massage functions, dual wireless charging pads, 64-colour ambient lighting and a 12-speaker JBL audio system. Other additions include a multifunction steering wheel, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, connected car tech via the i-Smart app and more.

The Majestor gets a bold, upright stance that gives it strong road presence. Up front, it features a split headlamp setup with Dragon Eye LED DRLs and vertically stacked lamps. The rugged appeal is further highlighted by a large mosaic grille, a sculpted bonnet, chunky bumpers and a prominent skid plate.

JSW MG Motor India will use 19-inch alloy wheels for the Majestor. This enhances the road presence and looks of the SUV substantially when it finally hits the Indian tarmac.

In terms of size, the MG Majestor stretches 5,046 mm in length, 2,016 mm in width and stands 1,876 mm tall, with a 2,950 mm wheelbase. These figures make it the largest SUV in its segment, even bigger than the Gloster.

Under the hood, you get a 2.0-litre twin-turbo diesel mill that churns out 215 bhp and 478 Nm of torque, which gets sent to all four wheels through an 8-speed automatic transmission.

The Majestor will be powered by a 2.0-litre twin-turbo diesel engine paired with an 8-speed automatic gearbox. Both 2WD and 4WD options will be offered, with the latter getting multiple terrain modes, differential locks and serious off-road capability.

This is a proper full-size SUV, measuring over five metres in length. It is designed to stand out with a bold, upright stance and muscular proportions, clearly targeting buyers who value road presence as much as practicality.

Early buyers of the Majestor will also get the brand’s 5-5-5 package, which includes a 5-year warranty, 5 years of roadside assistance and 5 free labour services.

Bookings for the MG Majestor are already open at a token amount of ₹41,000, with deliveries expected to begin after the official price announcement.

The Majestor is essentially a facelifted version of the Gloster which has been on sale in the Indian market for sometime now. It will be the new flagship ICE vehicle for the brand.
