According to the report, the assertion of accounts, submitted on the 2024 AGM, reads, “Honorary Secretary apprised the members that since 2019, the money and financial institution steadiness of BCCI has elevated from ₹6,059 crore which was earlier than disbursing any quantity to the state cricket associations to ₹20,686 crore which is after disbursing all quantities owed to the state cricket associations.”

“Therefore, since 2019, BCCI has added ₹14,627 crore within the final 5 years. This is a rise of ₹4,193 crore because the final monetary yr. Further, since 2019, the overall fund too has elevated from ₹3,906 crore to ₹7,988 crore which is a rise of ₹4,082 crore,” it mentioned.

It additional said that the BCCI continues to put aside large sums for tax liabilities, provisioning ₹3,150 crore for FY 2023-24 whereas contesting the matter in courts and tribunals.
