The ICC on Tuesday (September 16, 2025) rejected the Pakistan Cricket Board’s (PCB) demand to take away match referee Andy Pycroft from the panel of officers for the continuing Asia Cup.

The PCB had filed a criticism with the ICC alleging that Pycroft requested Pakistan captain Salman Ali Agha, on the time of the toss, to not shake palms together with his Indian counterpart Suryakumar Yadav of their Asia Cup match on Sunday (September 14, 2025..

“Late final night time, ICC had despatched a reply to PCB stating that Pycroft received’t be eliminated and their plea has been rejected,” an ICC supply advised PTI.
