The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) on Monday (September 15, 2025) demanded instant removing of match referee Andy Pycroft from the Asia Cup, alleging violation of the apex physique’s code of conduct by him throughout the sport in opposition to India in Dubai.

Pycroft officiated the match on the finish of which Indian gamers didn’t shake arms with the rival crew. The PCB has lodged a proper criticism in opposition to him with the ICC.

“The PCB has lodged a criticism with the ICC relating to violations by the Match Referee of the ICC Code of Conduct and the MCC Laws pertaining to the Spirit of Cricket. The PCB has demanded a right away removing of the Match Referee from the Asia Cup,” PCB chief Mohsin Naqvi mentioned on ‘X’.

Pakistan had earlier taken up the problem with the Asian Cricket Council (ACC), labelling the Indian gamers’ conduct as “unsporting”.

“Team supervisor Naveed Cheema lodged a powerful protest in opposition to Indian gamers’ behaviour of not shaking arms. It was deemed as unsporting and in opposition to the game of the sport. As a protest we didn’t ship our captain to the put up match ceremony,” learn a PCB assertion issued earlier.
