Explosion in boiler manufacturing unit kills 15 in Pakistan’s Punjab

At least 15 individuals had been killed and several other had been injured after the boiler of a manufacturing unit exploded within the Punjab Province of Pakistan on Friday (November 21, 2025), an official mentioned.

The incident happened within the morning within the Faisalabad district of Punjab, some 130 km from Lahore. Faisalabad Deputy Commissioner Raja Jahangir Anwar informed reporters that owing to the highly effective explosion of the boiler in a chemical manufacturing unit in Malikpur space close by constructions, together with a constructing caved in.

“So far, the rescue groups have recovered 15 useless our bodies from the rubble, and 7 injured have been shifted to the hospital,” Mr. Anwar mentioned. “It is feared that extra individuals are underneath the particles. The rescue groups are busy eradicating the rubble. The entire district equipment is participating within the rescue work,” the commissioner mentioned.

In a press release, Punjab Inspector General of Police Dr. Usman Anwar directed that Rescue 1122, the hearth brigade, and all associated businesses be supplied full help.

Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz expressed deep sorrow over the lack of treasured lives within the boiler explosion on the chemical manufacturing unit, prolonged her condolences and sympathy to the bereaved households and sought an in depth report in regards to the incident from the Faisalabad Commissioner.
