Instead of governance through Instagram ‘reel’, do some ‘real’ governance: Udhayanidhi Stalin tells TVK Government

NEET issue raised in Assembly
A day after the National Testing Agency announced that the NEET_UG medical entrance examination for 2026 stands cancelled, the issue was raised during the trust vote that is under way in the Tamil Nadu Assembly.“NEET irregularities have become a recurring annual saga. The new government must take a stand against NEET and should not accept the PM SHRI scheme,” M. H. Jawahirullah of the Manithaneya Makkal Katchi (that fought DMK symbol) said.
“The previous Tamil Nadu government implemented several important welfare schemes; in particular, the Magalir Urimai Thogai (Women’s Basic Income), the Vidiyal Payanam (Free Bus Travel), and school education reforms received a great response from the people,” Mr. Jawahirullah said.
“The Tamil Nadu government executed nine education-centric schemes. The DMK government fostered a scientific temper among the younger generation and worked effectively to ensure the state functioned as a garden of social harmony; this must continue in the new administration as well,” he added.
