Civil Aviation Authority of Bangladesh (CAAB) stated the blaze broke out within the afternoon on the Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport, prompting the deployment of over two dozen firefighting models, with extra groups speeding to the scene.
“We obtained the data at 2:30 p.m. and instantly dispatched our models to hitch those deployed on the airport,” Fire Service spokesman Talha Bin Zasim stated.
Thirty-six firefighting models are engaged within the operation, he stated. CAAB officers stated the Air Force’s fireplace models additionally joined the rescue marketing campaign.

Eyewitnesses stated personnel from the military, air power, navy, and Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) joined the firefighting and rescue efforts.
They described the hearth as a significant one, with thick smoke masking a big a part of the airport and surrounding areas.
This is the third main incident of fireplace in Bangladesh inside a span of 5 days.
