Russia is able to resume talks with Ukraine in Istanbul, Foreign Ministry official says

Russia is able to resume peace negotiations with Ukraine in Istanbul, Russian state information company TASS cited a Foreign Ministry official as saying on Wednesday (November 11).

No face-to-face talks have taken place between the 2 sides since they met within the Turkish metropolis on July 23.

TASS quoted the official, Alexei Polishchuk, as saying that Turkish officers had repeatedly urged a resumption of the peace negotiations.

“The Russian workforce is prepared for this, the ball is within the Ukrainian court docket,” he stated.
