Hombale Films to produce Marathi film titled Yeto Ka Naay

Hombale Films will be venturing into Marathi cinema soon. The production house announced a Marathi film titled, Yeto Ka Naay, on Friday (May 29, 2026) and its first look poster was also unveiled.

Sharing the poster on social media, the makers wrote, “The beat drops. The rivalry begins. Can the brotherhood bond survive?” The film will be set against the backdrop of the hip hop scene in Mumbai’s bylanes.

Speaking about it, Chaluve Gowda, Co Founder & Partner, Hombale Films, said in a statement, “At Hombale Films, we are constantly looking to tell stories that connect with all generations and reflect the evolving cultural landscape of India. Yeto Ka Naay is a fresh and contemporary narrative that speaks directly to Gen Z through the language of music, friendship, ambition, and self-expression. Yeto Ka Naay marks the directorial debut of content creator, stand-up comedian and actor Sarang Sathaye, who has also written the film with Sijay Jadhav, Srushti Tawade and Shreyas Sagvekar. It has been shot by Harshvir Oberai and features music by AV Prafullachand. Sarang is known for running the YouTube channel BhaDiPa, producing Marathi comedy sketches.

Yeto Ka Naay is produced by Vijay Kiragandur (Hombale Films) with Paula McGlynn and Swanand Tendulkar serving as executive producers.
