The Indian Army has confirmed that the Golden Temple in Amritsar was one of many targets in a significant drone and missile assault carried out by Pakistan in the course of the evening of May 8 and 9 in retaliation to India’s strikes on 9 terrorist websites in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK) as a part of Operation Sindoor. Thanks to prior intelligence and vigilant air protection measures, the sacred shrine remained utterly unhurt.
