Cobra discovered inside almirah at anganwadi in Ernakulam

An anganwadi at Veliyathunadu in Karumaloor panchayat close to Aluva had a giant scare when a cobra was discovered inside an almirah on Monday (August 4) afternoon.

Forest division officers, who have been alerted, took the snake away. The incident befell at Thadikkakadavu anganwadi quantity 131 at Veliyathunadu. The snake was noticed contained in the wall-mounted almirah whereas taking out toys for the kids. It was discovered mendacity behind a field.

When the anganwadi helper, Aani, lifted the field, the cobra hooded. Though scared out of her wits, she had the presence of thoughts to run outdoors carrying the kids sitting on the ground. Karumaloor panchayat president Sabitha Nasser stated that essential measures could be taken to make sure the protection of youngsters.
