When AI analyser meets skin care to diagnose key skin concerns

AI skin analysis? It sounded like the perfect opportunity to learn more about my skin and hone my skincare routine. “Our analyser instantly captures your face and analyses your skin, revealing key concerns with accuracy,” cosmetologist Anju Martin explains as I pull my hair back and position my face on a tabletop kiosk-type device in front of a camera. The surface detection identifies issues visible on the skin’s outer layer, such as acne, dark spots, and dryness.
